Lovely family run, very friendly guest house
An old style but very homely and welcoming guest house which occupies half of a late Victorian house set in lovely gardens. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a TV and drinks facilities with an en-suite and there’s decent secure off-road parking and just a 5 minute walk to Ashby town centre. The host – Simon – is a native of Ashby and has an excellent knowledge of the town and surrounding area. He also does an excellent breakfast which ranges up to a mega full English including everything! Highly recommended value for money accommodation in the heart of the National Forest!

Great location, free onsite parking, great breakfast and friendly team
The bathrooms have been upgraded since my last stay and the furniture in the bedrooms too. Breakfast was excellent as it had been on the past 6 stays. Overall, I can’t recommend it enough and it is the best option if you need to stay in Ashby de la Zouch or the surrounding areas

Short break with friendly hosts and a good nights sleep
We look for 3 things when we venture from home. Friendly hosts, good food an a good nights sleep. This place ticks all the boxes. Clean linen, ample parking, short walk to town, pleasant garden. Wide choice of freshly cooked breakfast. Simon made stay enjoyabe knowledgable of area. Would we stay again seriously consider which means joining others who have returned.
